In order for your browser to be able to view these images you will need to install this plugin - exview_setup.exe (2.9mb)
note: Microsoft Windows (98, XP, 2000), Internet Explorer (only!), there are problems with Windows Me and it does not work for Macs.
They are ~ 1 - 2 Mb in size, but depending on your computer's capabilities these images may take a while to uncompress and load. The original scanned images were 50mb or larger bitmaps, with wavelets compression they are now less than a megabyte. ArcGIS9x has build in to it the ability to create Mr. Sid compressed images.
After you install the plugin you should be able to click the links below (in Internet Explorer) and open the images. [note: after you zoom in it may take a second to uncompress, so be patient]
Once you get the image to load in your browser, Right-clicking on the image gives you the option to Zoom in (plus), Zoom out (minus), Pan (hand), etc.
